Blue Energy & GE Vernova Bet On Gas Bridge-To-Nuclear For AI Power Blue Energy announced a collaboration with GE Vernova to develop the world’s first gas-plus-nuclear power plant in Texas. The project will use two GE Vernova gas turbines to deliver roughly 1 GW starting around 2030. Steam supply will later shift to GE Vernova Hitachi BWRX-300 small modular reactors for up to 1.5 GW of nuclear capacity by 2032.
