A new poll found that the majority of Americans believe that the Democratic Party supports “open borders.” The Harvard/Harris survey conducted from March 25-26 found that 56 percent of respondents think that the Democrats support open borders, while 44 percent believe they do not. Further, only a slight majority — 52 to 48 percent — believe that Democrats support deporting violent criminals here illegally, while 79 percent of respondents think Republicans back the deportation of criminals.
