Bangladesh Leader Flees Country In Helicopter As Protesters Storm Parliament Via Middle East Eye Bangladesh’s long-serving Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, resigned and fled the country on Monday, after protesters defied a military curfew and stormed her official residence.
